Hi Garmanvsfood family, how we doing? Summer is in full swing and it has been goodt. From the quick city break to Stockholm with my cousin, discovering the vegetarian delights at Bubala to  catching some of the games at the Olympics. I am well into rugby sevens now, who knew?

Yep, summer so far has given booked and busy ha! Anyho, currently on my annual holiday with my bestie Sia and we are in Mexico! The weather is glorious and I was not expecting that colour for the sea, so gorgeous!

Since we have a full itinerary (oh yeah, we in Mexico for a 40th birthday thingy magig), we decided to have a tequila tasting why? because err.. Mexico? when in Rome and all that like. A quick disclaimer, I failed to capture the brands and the names of the tequila because, it got real🤫, ha! However, I do know the proper way to request for tequila is to ask for the Mexican flag

which is 3 shot glasses (tomato juice, a chaser, tequila) which you drink from left to right …. before I get into that, did you know that Tequila is made from a blue agave, a kind of cactus plant?

The presentation for this tasting.. shot glasses on a wooden tray with a picture of the region very was dope,

details, people, it is ALWAYS the details. We sampled quite a few tequila brands from inexpensive to extremely expensive

And the ceviche? Gave EVERYTHING! The umami was 1000%, citrusy, fresh with flavour changes on your palate depending on the tequila had! This combination for a tasting has got to be the hardest one yet, what a TREAT!

we loved it so much we asked for another round of ceviche because yeah! Do the tequila tasting when in Mexico, defo worth it! Our Mexican holiday is off to a good start!

Salud
